Norwegian students of
Spanish language discover the fabulous city of Valencia and the Spanish culture
Valencia. After a long way from Norway, a group of about 15 students of Spanish
language arrived the last weekend to the city of Valencia to learn Spanish and have a great
time during two weeks full of activities and unforgettable experiences. And the
first that amazed them was the weather and the atmosphere of Valencia. It
was already long time ago since they saw the Sun, living in the extreme
Norwegian winter
The first
day of their stay, their school of Spanish organized a guided visit to the old town of
the city, with a route that shows the most important reference places of Valencia and
the most charming ones.
The
students of the school of Spanish, enjoyed the Sunshine, the huge buildings and
the funniest anecdotes of the city, from the bullfighting ring and keep on
walking by the city hall, the cathedral or the basilica, until arrive to the
Torres de Serrano, old entrance door to the medieval city of Valencia.
The second
day, the Norwegian students arrived to the school of Spanish to meet their
teachers, whose where pleased to welcome them, and attend their first lesson
where they could practise the Spanish language in an easy and funny way.
Later in
the afternoon and to don’t lose the rhythm, from the school of spanish language Costa de Valencia was organized
as every Monday, the popular Paella Party,
where the norwegian students together with another students from the school,
were able to know better each other and taste a nice Paella all together,
between friends and laughs and leaving lot of pictures for the memories.
Thus, this
seems a good way to begin a week full of classes and activities where to know
better and enjoyes the languafe, the gastronomy and the spanish culture. The
students during the week , will continue realizing visits and activities like
the City of Arts and Sciences, the natural park of Albufera and, of course going to the
football matches: Europa Leagues Valencia C.F. vs. Stoke City and, we
couldn’t miss the spanish League on
Sunday where plays Valencia C.F. vs. el
Sevilla C.F.
In
conclusión, this will be a linguistic stay that the Norwegian students will always
remember with a smile.
