San Antonio en Vilanova d'Alcolea
EXCURSIÓN A VILANOVA D’ALCOLEA: FIESTAS DE SAN ANTONIO
SÁBADO 21 DE ENERO
Una excursión muy interesante para ver las típicas fiestas de San Antonio en Vilanova d’Alcolea. Veremos quemar una gran hoguera, veremos la Matxà y el Tropell, saltaremos hogueras y luego estaremos bailando y de fiesta con toda la gente para que conozcáis las típicas fiestas de un pueblo valenciano.

• PRECIO: 25 € (autobús privado + botellón)
• PUNTO DE ENCUENTRO: Av. Aragón, a la altura del campo de fútbol, 17.30 h – 02.00
- A las 19 h. Hoguera de los Mayorales y Castillo de Fuego.
- A las 22 h. Matxà. A continuación Tropell y Coqueta.
Tras cenar y ya vestidos los caballos, los mayorales y toda la gente se reúne al Planet (delante de la Iglesia) por tal de recoger el guión del Santo y comenzar la “matxà”. Uno de los mayorales lleva el guión de Sant Antoni. El Planet se llena de gente y cuando ya están todos los caballos, sale el cura de dentro de la iglesia con el Santo, se reza el "Padre Nuestro" y se bendice los animales para que Sant Antoni los libre de todos los males. Empiezan a voltear las campanas y todos van saltando las hogueras por todo el pueblo.
- A las 24 h. Baile con la Orquesta Oxido más Disco móvil (entrada gratuita y carpa).

Die Freudenfeuer von Sant Antoni erhellen Valencia
Vom 13. bis 22. Januar werden unzählige Festakte zu Ehren des Schutzpatrons der Tiere, Sant Antoni Abad, veranstaltet und viele Freudenfeuer brennen auf den Plätzen und Straßen der Dörfer und Städte von Alicante, Valencia und Castellón. In Canals wird zwischen dem 16. und 18. Januar ein beeindruckendes Feuer von 20 m Höhe und 12 m Durchmesser aufgebaut. Das ist eins der größten Feuer der Welt, aber noch lange nicht das einzige.
In der Provinz Valencia werden viele Aktivitäten und liturgische Festakte wie in La Font d'En Carròs oder in der Calle Sagunto der Stadt Valencia veranstaltet. Auf dieser Straße und in deren Umgebung werden traditionelle Tänze getanzt und es wird ein eigenartiges Lagerfeuer aufgebaut, das mit einem Ferkel gekrönt wird. In Benissa (Alicante), Betxí und Borriol (Castellón) sind diese Feste zum Fest von lokalem, touristischem Interesse erklärt worden.
In Ortschaften wie in Pego werden auch Pilgerfeste veranstaltet. In diesem Fall ziehen die Einwohner und Besucher der Stadt von Pla de la Font los, um gemeinsam den Porrat de Sant Antoni in der Kapelle Sant Antoni zu feiern. In Vilafranca del Cid wird die Publicata mit Umzügen (Rondas, Entradas) und sakramentalen Darbietungen gefeiert.
